What does Immigrant Networks do?

Immigrant Networks is the brainchild of one of Canada’s best-known immigrants, Nick Noorani. He is known for his social and entrepreneurial work with newcomers. He is also the founder of the Canadian Immigrant Magazine, Prepare for Canada, and has written the Government of Canada book Welcome to Canada given to every immigrant who comes to Canada.

Immigrant Networks addresses the biggest pain points immigrants have in a new country:

  1. Lack of professional networks

  2. No knowledge of how their profession works in their new home country

The AI based software Immigrant Networks offers, matches newcomers with professionals for a free video chat every week. Research shows that 70% of their members with more than 5 matches are successfully working in their profession in Canada.

In addition to the matching, Immigrant Networks also has 90 minute weekly Zoom calls where Ambassadors help newcomers with their 90 second pitch and a WhatsApp group where members get access to the hidden job market.

To learn more about Immigrant Networks and sign up for an account, you can check them out in our Resources page.
