Immitracker Canada: Startup Visa Tracker Launch

Starting this spring, Immitracker is excited to announce the launch of our newest immigration tracker for Canada: the startup visa program application tracker. Immitracker is an immigration application tracker and service marketplace for immigrants relocating to Canada and Australia, a growing community of 175,000+ members!

The government of Canada currently offers a startup visa program for those individuals looking to relocate to Canada to build their business. This program is one of the main business immigration pathways available to international entrepreneurs considering Canada as their next move.

You can find the new startup visa program tracker at the following link. Getting started and adding your case is incredibly simple! The step-by-step guide below will walk you through the process of creating an account, navigating the tracker, and adding your case in.

Step 1: Create an Account / Sign In

You can navigate to the main Immitracker product page by clicking Get Started anywhere on this website or through the following link.

Step 2: Navigate to the Startup Visa Tracker

You can find the startup visa program application tracker by clicking on the following link or by clicking on the Startup Visa Program Tracker under the “Canadian Visa Timeline Trackers”.

Step 3: Add Your Case

Adding your case to the tracker is simple! Click on the “Add a case” button found at the top of the tracker.

Step 4: Enter Case Information

You can anonymously enter your startup visa application case information into the tracker. There are a few mandatory fields that need to be inputted upon creation such as Nationality, Application Status, Submission Date, etc.

The rest of the fields can be updated as you receive additional information from the government and as the application moves along.

Step 5: Update Case Information

You can update your existing case information by clicking on the “My Cases” button above the tracker. Within the “My Cases” tab, select the case that you would like to update (in case you were tracking more than one).

Once within the detailed view of the case, click on the “Edit Case” button to navigate to the full case view. You can update the case with the latest communication dates from the IRCC and application status / decision.

So why use an immigration application tracker, you might ask? The government of Canada only provides approximate estimates for immigration application processing times. Those estimates aren’t always detailed nor insightful and many immigrants feel like they’re left in the dark for months on end until the government provides them with an occasional update. Waiting for an update regarding highly important immigration documentation and having your life in limbo is stressful for many: which is how Immitracker was created.

Powered by the community, the trackers display the timelines of immigration applications, their progress by program, submission time, location, and many other factors. Through enhanced analytical features, users can gain in-depth insights and an understanding of where they stand in their immigration application process and when they can hope to move on to the next step - all powered by the data voluntarily provided by thousands of immigrants going through the same exact process as them.

Through Immitracker, users have discovered when their applications were getting held up, when their important documents were getting lost in the mail, that it wasn’t only one application but multiple others that were taking much longer to process and many other unique insights that wouldn’t have been possible to determine through the government website or digging through immigration forums.

We’re especially excited about the launch of the startup visa program tracking in Canada given that the program had some of the longer processing timelines in the past! Many applicants felt like it wasn’t clear when the process would move on to the next step (if at all) and were heavily relying on insights from immigration experts and peers going through the same process in order to gain some peace of mind.

If you’re looking to potentially partner with Immitracker or would like to learn more about how the startup visa program tracker could benefit your organization, feel free to reach out to us using our contact form.
